Your day-to-day involves being the helpful person on the other end of the chat. Customers will reach out with questions about products, orders, or services, and you'll provide quick answers and thoughtful solutions. You'll manage conversations with a calm demeanor, staying patient and professional even during busy periods when multiple chats are happening at once.
Balancing several conversations simultaneously requires focus and composure. The ability to remain helpful and upbeat when things get hectic is essential to this role.
What you will be doing: You'll monitor social media and chat platforms for incoming customer messages. Some customers will need help with existing orders, while others are shopping around and want product information. Comprehensive training will prepare you for the different types of requests that come your way.
Contract length: No fixed term
Rate: $35 per hour
Skills/background needed: A working device like a laptop, phone, or tablet is required to access chat software and social media platforms. You should be able to work independently while following clear instructions. A minimum of 5 hours per week availability is needed. You'll also need a stable, dependable internet connection.
Hours per week: 5 to 40 hours weekly
