Remote Mobile Software Tester – Flexible Hours, No Degree Required

As a Mobile Software Tester, you'll dedicate your time to checking whether mobile apps function properly and meet quality benchmarks. To excel here, you should understand mobile platforms, know how testing works, and feel comfortable operating independently from home. Clear writing skills and a sharp eye for detail are crucial since you'll be documenting and communicating any bugs or problems you find.

Roles: Each day, you'll load apps onto your own mobile device, test every function thoroughly, and write detailed reports showing what performed well and what needs fixing.

Requirements: You'll need at least one working device available for testing, whether that's an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet.

Contract length: No fixed term

Rate: $35 per hour.

Skills/background needed:

Own a smartphone or tablet capable of installing and handling apps
Work independently with minimal supervision
Follow detailed testing instructions precisely and consistently
Have at least 5 hours weekly to dedicate to this work
Access to reliable internet service

Hours per week: Flexible.

Location: Remote from anywhere with internet, though applicants in the United States are preferred.
