Phone Application Tester – Remote, Entry Level, Training Provided

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? This position lets you evaluate mobile applications from the comfort of your home while contributing meaningful feedback that shapes how apps perform in the real world. You'll install apps, explore their functionality thoroughly, and document your findings in clear, insightful reviews that help both developers and users make better choices.

Roles: You'll be responsible for downloading and installing test applications on your mobile device, then systematically working through each feature to evaluate performance. Once you've completed your testing session, you'll create a detailed report that outlines your experience, highlights any problems you discovered, and provides constructive observations.

Requirements: You need to have at least one working smartphone or tablet available for testing, whether that's an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet.

Contract length: No fixed term

Rate: $35 hourly, with compensation adjusted to reflect the complexity of each application and the thoroughness of your analysis.

Skills/background needed:

You own and can comfortably use a smartphone or tablet with working knowledge of app installation
You can manage projects independently and stay organized without day-to-day management
You catch small details easily and stick to testing guidelines consistently
You can commit at least 5 hours each week to testing work
You have reliable internet access at your testing location
Hours per week: Flexible scheduling to fit your availability.

Location: Fully remote opportunity for candidates based within the United States.
